Windows 10: Error code: 0xa00f4293 video capture start timeout windows 10

Camera app won’t record videos.I can zoom, web chat, take photos, record audio. But I can’t record videos. Please help. Tried a lot of solutions up to this point. Uninstalling, reinstalling, default settings, administrator command health check. I cannot find the problem

Unable to capture image, video and getting Error Code 0xA00F425C

I've upgraded to 10, thinking all the things I've got attached to my PC would continue to work once I'd upgraded from 7 to 10 - however I found that my Kodak scanner i1150 wouldn't work, contacted Microsoft about it and following a 'webchat' with an operative
concluded I'd receive an email with some instructions or at least point me in a direction where I'd get a fix to the issue.

Anyway I also noticed that my Microsoft Lifecam wouldn't work either.

I had to roll back to 7 because I need to use the scanner everyday, however I liked 10 and found a solution to the scanner issue, purchased a 2nd hand dell quad core running 64 bit version of 7 and scanner works perfect. So I upgraded my original machine
back to 10... then 'camera' appeared in my list of 'apps', clicked on it and hey my HD camera works... until you try to capture an image then you get .....

Error Code 0xA00F425C.. tried to capture video, same error code. Searched around Microsoft site can't find the error code so am now miffed that I can't capture an image and equally miffed I can't find error code... I don't want to roll back to 7 again
and not in a rush to buy ANOTHER HD webcam... So does anyone out there have any useful suggestions, or even a link to an updated driver for my webcam, please, thank you

I tried to take a video and received this error code 0xA00F4293<VideoCaptureStartTimeout>

How do I fix this? Thanks!
