Windows 10: Error 0x80780166 when trying to create system image

Introduction:It seems like I deleted something I shouldn't have, so for the past few months, Chromium based apps I think that's the commonality haven't been working properly. Google Chrome, Edge, Steam and Quixel Bridge.Mostly they seemed to work, just not display correctly.I assumed that was the case because the window was either black or white, but when moving the cursor, the cursor's shape changed, when there was something to interact with.I am embarrassed to say, that somebody already tried to help me, on this forum, but the steps were intimidating, and I didn't follow through with the l

Hi!I have been trying to create a system image in my Windows 10 Home 64 bit OS and at the end of the backup I am getting error below


windows backup encountered an error when writing data to the backup target. (0x80780166)

Additional Information
status_wait_1 (0x80070001)

I have searched many forums for solution to this and every solution that I have tested has failed.Kindly assist.

Getting error 0x80780166 backing up windows 10

Hello, I made sure my VSS is set to automatic and is running correctly. I have tried repeatedly to create a windows backup on my 1TB USP external hard drive and EVERY time I get the same error that the backup cannot find specified file. The backup does not
complete as a result of this error (0x80780166). I am trying to run the backup with the Backup tool (Windows 7). Any ideas on what else I can try to get the backup to work? Thank you.
