Windows 10: "ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED" in every web search and every browser.

I cannot perform any web search nor in chrome or bing. I always get "ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED". I'm able to navigate and perform multiple tasks, but i cannot search. I've restore defeault internet setting, re-installed the network adapter driver, renew ip, flushed dns, etc etc. But i cannot find the solution for this issue. Please help! Tanks!

Cannot set default web browser

My name is Mohammed Shuain, an Independent Advisor & I understand from the description that you want to make the Chrome browser as your default browser. Please follow the below steps.

Step 1:

Go to Search box next to Windows icon and type Default app Settings

Step 2:

Click to open Default app Settings

Step 3:

Under choose, default apps scroll down to see the Web browser

Step 4:

Click on the Browser shown to get the default browsers list to select from

Step 5:

Select Google Chrome

You may try these.

Follow the steps below:

For Windows 10:

• 
  Select the start button, and then type
  Default app settings
  
• 
  In the search results, select default app settings
  
• 
  Under web browser, select the browser currently listed and then select Mozilla fire fox or another browser
  

For Windows 7, 8.1:

• 
  Go to control panel
  
• 
  In the search box, located on the upper right corner
  type Default programs
  
• 
  Click on Default programs
  
• 
  Click on Set your default program
  
• 
  Click on Mozilla Firefox
  
• 
  Click on Set this program as default
  
• 
  Click Ok

Disable Store and Web search in Start Menu

Since the steps above did not work for you, we suggest that you disable web search by navigating the settings of Cortana itself. Please follow the steps below:

• Open the search box in the taskbar.
• Click the Notebook icon.
• Click Settings from the list.
• On the Settings page, turn off the Cortana can give me suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts and more option.
