Windows 10: Emoji Panel is Broken

My recent and most used emojis keep changing to emoji's I've used only once and it's really annoying. Just a FYI.

Hello! I updated to version 22H2 of Windows 11 and now the emojis on the emoji panel appear in black in white or entirely broken. They only appear like this in the panel, but work fine if I select one to use. I'm not really sure how to fix this?

I actually broke this again and figured out why. This happened because I had reverted the ugly Windows 11 emojis back to Windows 10. I deleted the them from the registry, but didn't install them back properly and didn't realize that was the issue because the keyboard didn't appear broken until I restarted for the Windows 11 update.



If anyone else breaks their emoji keyboard it's because you don't have them in your registry anymore. If you have the emoji font, then right click>show more options>install for all users and that fix everything after a restart.

 

Issues with the emoji panel

I've just tried and can confirm that the emoji panel isn't working at all with the latest version of Windows, at least after the latest update. My "idea" is that the emoji panel is just broken as hell, until an update will fix it.
