Windows 10: Elitebook 840 G3 with Windows 11 is not turning on the lockscreen when opened.

I have to press the individual on button to turn on the lockscreen, it doesn't turn on by itself.Please express if I should ask HP individually, I thought I'd ask here first.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Last point of note. I re-ran the UEFI on board diagnostics over night, all System tests, Exhaustive, this completed 15 time with no errors.

No upgrade; system came preinstalled with WIndows 10

There are no error messages.

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I already explained what I have tried already. There isn't much to try.
