Windows 10: Elevoc Smart Microphone Settings doesn’t work anymore after Windows Driver updates?

Hello, my “Smart Microphone Settings Powered by Elevoc Vocplus PC” doesn’t work anymore. I was able to switch between “Private Mode”, “Shared Mode” and “Environmental Mode” to adjust how ambient noise is picked up or not.I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6Since a few days when I start the app and try to switch between modes I get a message “Service connect failed. Please check Elevoc Control Service”. I checked in “Computer Management / Services” and “Elevoc Control Service” is running. A few days ago Windows Update performed a few “driver updates”:Elevoc Technology Co., Ltd. – Extensi

My headphones microphone doesn´t work

I recently updated my Asus laptop to windows 10 and noticed that my microphone doesn´t work anymore. Before it was working well and after the update it started using my laptops own mic and in settings i cant change input to anything

 

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"

Is there a workaround for that?

Re-install the TWAIN drivers? (They are not included in Windows.)

You might get a better answer if you gave the make and model of the scanner.
