Windows 10: DXDiag hangs on startup when not bypassing DIRECT3D

When I run dxdiag, it pops a dialog message on load which says: "DxDiag has detected that there might have been a problem accessing Direct3D the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass Direct3D this time?"If I click "No", the process just hangs it doesn't end up opening the "UI".. I can still see it in the task manager, but if I'm looking at it with procmon, it's not doing anything.If I click "Yes", it does end up opening but only shows "General", 5 "Sound" tabs, and an "Inputs" tab.. nothing else.I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my gfx drivers, I've tried disablin

Windows 10 Direct3D DxDiag Thing

Whenever I open games or things that take a while to load, Windows 10 seems to crash the application. I was told to open DxDiag and see what that said and the first time I opened it, it crashed... Second time it said "DxDiag has detected that there might
have been a problem accessing Direct3D..." I think this has something to do with my applications crashing, is there a solution?

I'm having this problem wherein when I run DxDiag there's an error that says "Microsft directx diagnostic tool has stopped working". Then when I run it again there's a window that says - " DxDiag has detected that there might hve been a problem accessing
Direct3D the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass Direct 3D this time?"

Hi,

To enable the Direct 3D feature on your device, we suggest following the steps below:

• Run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (Dxdiag.exe).
• On the Display tab, verify that DirectDraw Acceleration and
  Direct3D Acceleration are selected under DirectX Features.
• If either of these lines shows a Disabled status, click
  Enable for that line.
• If multiple video adapters are installed in your computer, repeat steps 2 for each
  Display tab in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
