Windows 10: DTS support in Movies & TV app

Yes, it has been asked before. But there is a new version of Windows out.... So what's the current thinking about the Windows 11 Movies & TV app playing back a video clip with a DTS audio track? I'd be willing to pay for a license if needed, but don't know where to buy one.Solutions tried:Alternate players MPV practically has to rev up the CPU fan louder than the stereo to play video in 4KI see a "DTS Sound Unbound" app in the Store, but it a likely doesn't integrate with Movies & TV, and b looks like it might interfere with other applications since it's primarily a headphones

DTS audio is not playing on Movies&Tv

A DTS audio file format is not supported by the Movies&Tv app which is why you're unable to play it. To better assist you, we suggest that you visit this

link. From there you'll see all of the file formats being supported by the Movies&Tv app.

Movies & TV app not working properly.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.
