Windows 10: Driver Error on PnP USB audio interface

Discus and support Driver Error on PnP USB audio interface in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I'm currently running windows 10 and have come into an issue with my PnP USB audio interface not being recognised.     Driver Error on PnP USB audio interface


    I'm currently running windows 10 and have come into an issue with my PnP USB audio interface not being recognised. The light on the device comes on but I can't use it. There is a driver error and troubleshooting the device couldn't resolve it. It works on my laptop but not on my PC. All my USB port are working, I've tried a different cable, and I'm up to date with the latest updates. I've tried everything I can find online regarding USB settings and there has been no fix to this issue. Would be much appreciated if someone else has come into this problem and has a fix for it. Thanks.

    @fireberd. I do have Stereo mix set as recording default. And this was working last week so I don't understand what changed.

    @spapakons, I'm not sure I understand what you are suggesting. Could you re-phrase your statements.

    USB Audio Codec Driver

    After following all these steps, my usb audio device still does not work. In Settings > Connected devices it list USB Audio Codec Driver is unavailable.

    Understood. If I have my USB audio interface connected and turned on, I get the error launching Audacity and there are no devices available to select.

    If I turn of the audio interface I see the devices in Audacity.
