Windows 10: dpc_watchdog_violation when connecting to home wi-fi

posting this on behalf of a friend since they have no internet at the moment, but they have recently started receiving constant dpc_watchdog_violation bsods when trying to connect to their home wi-fi. other devices in the house are connected perfectly fine, and he's unable to download any drivers online due to having no internet connection to do so. this started randomly after coming home one day. he uses a vodafone ultra hub and has had strange internet problems recently anyway.

After windows 1903 update I don't have any wi fi connection or icon showing and have tried many suggestions on how to get it, but none have worked.

Can you provide a step by step instruction on how to get wi fi icon and network.

I suggest you to run the in-built troubleshooter for Internet connections.

• Open 'Settings' and click on 'Update and security'.
  
• On the left pane, select 'Troubleshoot' and run the troubleshooter for 'Internet Connections'.
