    Hi,I have had an ongoing issue with my download speed being extermely slower than it should be and I have tried so many steps to fix it but nothing has worked. I am using an ethernet connectionMy speed on google and ookla is always a consistant 25mbs. Even testing on my wifes PC she gets 25mbs and that is the same speed she gets when downloading. Im using steam to test this. For some reason mine is capped at 3.3mbs. Before it was 10mbs but after trying to fix it, it just got worse somehow.My driver is Realtek Gaming 2.5Gbe Family Controller which through online searches show people have the sa

    "Capped" download speed on wireless connection on the computer

    Greg, please just don't go to Bing, search for "slow internet speed windows 10" and post the 10 first websites here, my friend. The suggestions on these websites has nothing to do with my issue.

    If you don't know what can cap a download speed on Windows (which is not a signal or connection issue), please leave the question to another expert.

    Windows 10 internet speed capped at half the original speed on new PC

    I got a new pc, the internet speed is somehow capped at 5 MB/s on every program .. Torrent, steam, chrome downloads and everything.

    I tried with my laptop and other pc and it's runs all good, no internet cap there.

    Tried to reinstall drivers, and updating them to the least update... didn't solve the problem.

    Anyone can help me?

    Capped download speeds and 0 upload

    I recently followed a tutorial on PC optimization for gaming. I have since been experiencing capped download speeds around 90 and essentially no upload speeds. I have a 1 GIG Fiber connection. My phone even runs faster speeds. What is the solution?
