Windows 10: Does Windows 10 and 11 come with G.711 Audio Codec installed?

Hello,Does Windows 10 and 11 come with G.711 Audio Codec installed?Please provide a link for a Microsoft audio codec pack, that includes G.711 Audio Codec, for Windows 10 and for Windows 11.What is Microsoft alternative for K-lite codec pack?Thank youBest regards

Nokia E65 saying "address busy" on an Internet Call

To communicate, both end-points must have the same communication protocol and at least one common audio codec. So what I suggest you (your customer is ) to check what audio codec uses his provider

Audio codec support by your Nokia phone in SIP -VoIP Calls are:

G.711

G.726

G.729

 

USB Audio Codec Driver

After following all these steps, my usb audio device still does not work. In Settings > Connected devices it list USB Audio Codec Driver is unavailable.

If you want to have the high definition audio codec driver on your computer, we suggest updating your sound driver. Follow the steps below to update sound driver.

• On Start menu and type
  Device Manager and press enter.
• Click Sound, video, and game controllers.
• Right-click IDT High definition audio codec and
  Update driver.
• If there are no update available, reinstall the driver by clicking Uninstall.
• Restart the computer. Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

We also suggest updating the chipset driver from your manufacturer's website. Click
