Windows 10: Documents folder is missing, can't find it. Windows 11.

Deleted One Drive from Windows 11. All canned folders such as Documents, Images, etc. I copied to local, after which I completely deleted OneDrive from my system. Today, I had an issue with a game Bayonetta not being able to save. Like, at all. So I went back to the Documents folder that I created as a substitute for the OneDrive one, and I see it was last changed when I deleted OneDrive. So I went to search for another Documents folder, yet I couldn't find any. I have also played other games before this one, and their saves worked fine. I read around the forum, and I managed to go into rege

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

Documents folder missing Windows 11 22J2 (kind of)

Hello

II am running Windows 11 22H2 with the latest updates. I would like to get documents to show back up in file explorer,

This is kind of confusing so let me try to explain

• if I go to E:\Data the location where I moved the documents directory it shows up in file explorer as Documents. This is normal behavior because I have moved, he location of Documents in the past
  
  
  
  
  
• I noticed today that the Documents folder is not showing up in file explorer or anywhere else like in Save or SaveAS diolog boxes in other applications. File explorer is below as you see below and you can see there is no Doucments folder
  

• If I type Documents as you see heighted below, it finds my documents folder that I pointed my documents folder to
  

• As you see regedit is pointing to the correct folder
  
  
  
  
  
• If I right, click on the Documents folder and tell windows 11 to pin the documents folder to "quick Access" it is pulling the folder called Documents thnat is located on my OneDrive .
  

It does not make sense
