  1. Do not disturb treats desktop as an app in full-screen mode

If you check the box "When using an app in full-screen mode priority notification banners are also hidden" in the System > Notifications area of Settings, Do Not Disturb is turned on when nothing is open, i.e. when the desktop is shown. Only when you open a window is Do Not Disturb turned off.Is this a bug, does anyone else see the same behaviour, and is this intended behaviour? My OS is Windows 11 Home version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

  2. Are Moden Apps the same in desktop mode as tablet mode?

I knew that but forgot to put it in my post, I've amended it now. So apart from a very minor difference in "full screen" where you don't have the small taskbar, and those listed above. There is no other difference?

I'm just wondering why they bothered with tablet mode at all. Seems as if you may as well stay in desktop mode and launch the tablet friendly modern apps from the start menu.

  3. How do I fix notifications still coming in even though Do Not Disturb is enabled?

Hi, I'm Douglas. Welcome to the community. I'm happy to help you today

If you are having problems with notification sounds, please do the following:

Step 1: Right-click on the Start icon and select Settings from the list.

Step 2: On the System tab, click on Notifications.

Step 3: Under "Notifications from apps and other senders", you will see a list of apps. Click on the app you want to disable notification sounds for.

Step 4: Disable the option "Play a sound when a notification arrives". You can also prevent the app from showing notification banners from this menu.

You can repeat the steps above to disable notification sounds for other apps.

Try turning on Do Not Disturb this way, however, all alerts will continue to appear in the Notification Center.

To automatically control Do Not Disturb, follow these steps:

    Open Settings.

    Click System.

    Click on the Notifications tab.

Turn on the “Do Not Disturb” switch.

Click on the “Turn on Do Not Disturb Automatically” context.

Check the During these times option.

Set the on and off time to silence notifications.

    Automatic Do Not Disturb

    Choose repeat setting.

After completing the steps, Do Not Disturb will automatically turn on and off depending on your configuration.

In addition to setting up a schedule, you can also decide whether you want to stop notification banners at certain times.

I hope this information helps you, post the results again. We are available

    Regards,

    Douglas R.
