Windows 10: Do I need to activate windows in order to use Zoom?

I do not have my windows account activated nor do I have an access key. There is a transparent message in the bottom right corner that reads "Activate Windows go to settings to activate windows." When I am using zoom in class I typically don't have my camera on however, 5 minutes after I enable my camera, the computer freezes and zoom becomes unresponsive in which I have to close it.


My main answer is if this is caused because I do not have windows activated in my account. On the zoom.us main website, one of the requirements states I must have it activated but I am having a hard time understanding If I am able to use it when my camera is off. Is my CPU not good or something else making my zoom application to freeze?

Zoom in Adobe

• Choose the Page Display category.
• Under the heading labeled "Default Layout and Zoom," find
  Zoom. Choose the desired default zoom option from the menu.

TPU Capture Auto Zoom

Not sure where else to post this since it isn't listed in the TPU Software section. But when I hit print screen it instantly zooms in. If I try to take a fullscreen shot it only takes the zoomed in window. Any ideas here?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
