Windows 10: DLL files missing after Windows 11 update

Hi all, I have recently encountered an issue after installing the latest Windows 11 update. Each time that I try to open an Adobe product Acrobat, Photoshop, Lightroom, I get the error messages that the following files are missing: MSVCP140.dll , VCRUNTIME140.dll , VCRUNTIME140_1.dll , mfc140u.dllNo other programs are giving me these messages, including Office, Steam, QGIS, and all internet browsers. I have run the System File Checker and used the repair function through the Command Prompt, but the issue persists. What should my next steps be?Technical Notes: I am using a Samsung GalaxyBook

I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if it helps resolve the issue.

• Uninstall all those apps (using revo uninstaller) which are giving you msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files missing error
• Open the link below

And download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.

3. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 64bit.

4. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 32bit.

• Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, type
  Command Prompt or cmd, then right-click it, and click
  Run as administrator.
• At the command prompt, type the following command, and press Enter:
  • sfc /scannow
• After the process is finished, you may receive the results of the scan, if it found any corruptions within your device.

Missing MSVCP100.dll files

Since Windows 8 update to Windows 10, AVG Antivirus/Internet Security 2013 misses some DLL to start :

• MSVCR100.dll
• MSVCP100.dll

I managed to solve this problem by clicking right on AVG icon, selecting "Open file location" (it opens a window with all AVG files), double clicking on "upgrade.exe" (with AVG logo). A message shows that AVG protection was disabled by Windows 10. Click on
start an update to get AVG 2015. That's all!
