Windows 10: Display Sleep Timer Always Reverts to 15 minutes

The display sleep timer on my PC resets to 15 minutes after every reboot. I always have my monitors set to never sleep. I am the only user and administrator of this PC, I double check every time I start the PC that it is set to Never sleep and yet for some reason I cannot figure out why it just decides to put my settings back to 15 minutes. I've set up a custom plan... changed all the preset plans to never. Attempted to turn off windows ability to put the display monitors to sleep through the device manager.I've read the forums and attempted to reset the power setting to default. I've unplugge

For a few months now the monitor sleep timer on one of my PC's resets to 15 minutes randomly. I always have my monitors set to never sleep because I don't want to miss updates that might appear on the applications that I use.

I am the only user and administrator of this PC, I double check every time I start the PC that it is set to Never sleep and yet for some reason I cannot figure out why it just decides to put my settings back to 15 minutes. Any ideas on this would be greatly

Display and sleep timers

Does anyone know how to fix sleep timers in windows 10. My problem is the settings under my current power plan are set to turn off display after 30 minutes and to put PC to sleep after 1 hour. I am trying to change these settings to 10 minutes to turn
off display and 30 minutes to go to sleep which is the default settings for the plan. I've tried resetting the plan settings to their default, but windows always reverts back to 30 minutes and 1 hour. I've tried changing the settings manually under the advance
options but it always reverts back 30 minutes and 1 hour. The display will turn off at the time I set it to, but the PC will not go into sleep mode at my preferred settings and when I go back to the power plan and look at the settings it has reverted back
to 30 minutes and 1 hour. This PC seems to think it knows what is best for me, but a machine doesn't rule the roost in my household. Is there a fix for this. Thanks R.K.

Thank you for the form response however I have already explored both of these options you gave and they only make the problem worse by making the whole computer go to sleep instead of just the monitor. Please take the time to read a post before replying
to it and you may actually be helpful at some point. I am aware of how to set the sleep timers in all of the standard methods, my issue is that Windows 10 decides randomly to change my setting to make the monitor go to sleep after 15 minutes.
