Windows 10: DISM Error 0x800f081f when Restoring Health

Hello,Currently, when I run the restorehealth command I get error 0x800f081f and cites that it cant find the source files. Running windows troubleshooter, reinstalling NET Framework 3.5, and using installation media to replace the missing file yields no results Ref. https://www.wintips.org/fix-dism-0x800f081f-error-in-windows-10-8/. I also would like to note that now when I run the startcomponentcleanup command, it only reaches 20% and then finishes with no errors. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Build 16241 DISM Restore Health Fails 0x800f081f

DISM Restore health fails 0x800f081f and message the source file could not be found. I reported this problem to Microsoft with the Creators edition and they said they know it is a problem and they are working on a fix.

Windows version: 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1165)

As usual, I ran ""sfc -scannow" command after this month patch update, that didn't find any integrity violation.

DISM on the other hand did:





The "RestoreHealth" could not fix the error:





Checking the image health in PowerShell confirms the issue:





Repairing the image with PowerShell also fails:





The system in question boots up and runs just fine, pretty much the same as prior to the patch update. The issue seems very similar, if not the same, to a previous thread in this forum:

Creators update component store shows corruption but unable to repair

It is not clear, if the solutions in that and other old threads are workable on the latest version of W10.

Anyone has a suggestion how to fix this error?

Latest Error message 0x800f081f which according to Microsoft is not Relevant to Win10 but refers to Win 7

Everything was working fine, then

Store stopped opening just get a quick flash on screen

Tried various suggested “fixes”

Sf/scannow came back with not being able to find source files

DISM Scan health and restore health came back with the error 0x800f081f (See comments above)

Now Edge will not open at all and I could not open my PDF attachments – message - invalid value for registry
Have changed defaults to Firefox for the Internet connection and Adobe Reader for the PDF files – this appears to be working

After three days of almost continuous command line entries and laptop restarts Cannot remember anything else
