    Disabled HID Compliant Game Controller, Now receiving BSOD


    In an attempt to play a game with a controller, I disabled two versions of HID Compliant Game Controller found in device manager, after that, windows recommended me to restart my pc to enable the changes. I receieved a BSOD on reboot. I first decided to start windows in safe mode w/internet access and tried to reenable HID Compliant Game Controller to fix the issue, but found that only one version of HID Compliant Game Controller was visible. The other was hidden due to the hardware device not being connected to the computer I'm assuming this is refering to my xbox controller which can only

    HID Compliant Game Controller

    I'm having a problem with a PS3 controller not an Xbox one. I plugged in a usb mouse and it installed an HID compliant game controller. I want it to stop doing that is there a way to stop it?

    Disabled HID Compliant Game Controller, Now receiving BSOD

    HID Compliant Game Controller

    I am trying to install my PS3 controller as an Xbox controller which I have done so in the past on windows 10 but now it tries to install and HID compliant game controller which messes everything up. I have tried disabling it but it sets up my controller
    as player 2 and I can't use it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
