Windows 10: 'Dirty' C Drive. Please help!

Months ago when I tried to install Windows 24H2 update, it failed and my PC crashed. When it turned back on, I was able to reinstall it but now it's displaying my C drive as Dirty. I've been experiencing some odd issues such as not being able to pin apps to the Start menu. Checking my disks & volumes, it's displaying my C drive as a full repair needed, yet when I attempt to repair it via Powershell, CMD online / offline, or during startup, it's not detecting any errors.Notes:I have tried chkdsk c: /f /r offline. It has not worked.Is there any solution to this? I have a feeling the drive is

Hello, today when I booted my pc there was a screen saying "scanning and repairing drive (C...". I found it strange and searched it up immediatly. Most of the tutorials said for me to do lots of stuff and in the end to go in cmd and use the command "fsutil dirty query C:". And in the end it was always dirty but the screen with "scanning and repairing drive (C..." dissapeared.

To conclude does anyone know how to clean my C drive so it isnt dirty?

I am Dave, I will help you with this, the dirty bit being set on that drive, is probably just set in error, and that cannot harm your pC at all you do not need to worry about that.

Bot into Advanced Startup and tun this command 3 times in a row:

chkntfs /x c:

Then check if the disk is still reporting the Dirty Bit is set on that drive.

fsutil dirty query C:

Hi, I have a issue with my drive c: being dirty. I tried following the answer in this link Redirecting , however I don't see command prompt on the advanced options startup. I tried to run it from safe mode, but it is still checking every time I reboot. Is there a different process to use in windows 11?
