Windows 10: digital audio hdmi says not plugged in

Tried All Troubleshooting


1) Uninstalled Driver and Re-Installed from Device Manager

2) Uninstalled Deleted the Driver and used windows 10 driver. no luck

3) Downloaded latest drivers from Gigabyte website https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B360M-DS3H-rev-10#support-dl-utility. no luck

4) Update Driver to search updates from online

None of the above help in solving this issue.

HDMI audio

If the Digital Output Device or HDMI is not an option under the Playback tab. You can run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter by following these steps:

• Type Troubleshooting in Search or Cortana.
• Click on “View All” in the top left corner.
• Choose Hardware and Sound.
• Click Playing Audio to run the troubleshooter.

Digital Audio (HDMI) Issues

Hello Microsoft Community,

Since I have had Windows 10 I run into this same issue with audio. With the most recent Windows 10 Fall Creators update its more troublesome and inconvenient than ever.

I need a little help on an issue and how to resolve the audio issue properly.

Situation:

I have been using a wireless Bluetooth Soundbar since I had Windows 10. I set it up once and boom worked great out the box.

Problem:

On occasions I have to pair it over again, and restart computer for it to play sound output properly.

Problem 2:

I have (4) Digital Audio (HDMI) Drivers with nothing plugged in or even with my Bluetooth speaker removed.





Problem 3:

I only want one audio driver, I do not want AMD Audio, Windows Audio and Realtek all at once I want one that is going to work. Suggestions ?

Problem 4:

Keeps saying my monitor is an audio output device because maybe HDMI inputs. *Note* monitor does not have speakers.

My PC Information:

Windows 10 64bit

LG 34" UM59-P (Has 2 HDMI inputs) *

Please help if you may have any solutions

 

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.
