Windows 10: Device_Power_State_Failure 9f Bluescreens due to storahci.sys

BSOD 9F

I started experiencing the following BSOD error a few days ago. I performed system restore to a date several days before the BSOD started with no success so I did a complete reinstall. Still no success.

Can anyone suggest steps I can take to isolate the problem?

DEVICE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

One of the many things that does no longer work properly under Windows 10 is now booting. I have become used to the mail program not working properly - with me it is the login account which is hotmail/outlook and, according to Microsoft, cannot be deleted
and then re-instated - but now, in this vaunted operating system, when I login I get the error DEVICE_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. It does not tell me which device driver is causing the problem but as Microsoft is now installing software without due regard to what
is already on the system, is probably due to them.

If anybody has any idea a to what can be causing this problem - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - or how to find out which driver it is I would be grateful to know.

If anybody has another working mail client which can work with multiple email accounts I would also like to know.

Bluescreen crashes from storahci?

I built a new Windows 11 Workstation PC recently but it's had 20+ bluescreen crashes. The error is always:

I opened some of the .dmp files in the kernel debugger, and they all seem to point towards storahci.sys, which I believe is a Windows Storage driver. Someone from a different help forum told me it may have had something to do with my Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD, which I have since removed, but the bluescreen crashes continue to occur.

Usually the bluescreen crash happens randomly when I open a file picker inside my web browser. The file chooser will open, freeze, hang for between 10-30 seconds, then the Bluescreen crash will show up.
