This is for my Wireless network card that continuously looses connection after I upgraded from Windows 10 home to windows 10 pro.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit sees the device as the ASUS PCE-N15 11n Wireless Lan PCI-E Card. It regains connection after 30 seconds, every time.

There are two drivers installed rtwlane_13.sys file version 2013.12.03312016

    and vwifibus.sys File version 10.0.19041.1

This is a custom built PC.

Intel Celeron dual core CPU G1620 @ 2.70 Ghz not overclocked

    1 TB Western Digital SSD

    2 SATA 1 TB drives

    NVidia GeForce GT710

Arries Cable modem provided by my ISP, not modded in any way, positioned 8 feet away from the computer

What I have done so far.

Confirmed that the wireless card can connect to my internet gateway.

Card is firmly seated in the socket and the wireless antennae are aligned

There is no flag in the device manager and properties states that the card is working normally.

Other devices, such as phones, my blue-ray player and my smart tv all have a connection to the tv .

    Could it be?

    Idle time out/power saving

    Incompatibility with 64 bit drivers

conflicting IP address on my home network

    alternate configurations

    :)

WLAN driver fails after update to Windows 10 build 1803 - Realtek RTL8192CE

    Hello,

After an upgrade to Windows 10 build 1803, the driver for my WLAN card causes the internet speed to drop from the initial 30Mbps (as with all other devices connected in my network) to under 1Mbps. The workaround is a disabling of the device then enabling,
but this only lasts a few minutes before the problem returns. I've tried both the system driver (Microsoft signed, 2013.12.331.2016, 31/03/2016) and one from the internet (Realtek signed, 2023.2.1215.2014). Neither seems to work.

    For info:

    Realtek RTL8192CE Wirless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC

    Hardware ID:

    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8178&SUBSYS_817810EC&REV_01

No wireless adaptors detected following Windows 10 auto update

Windows 10 Laptop (upgraded from 8.1 last month) was working fine until a forced auto update last week.

Now Network settings says "We couldn't find wireless devices on this PC"

However, Device manager shows "This device is working properly." for the Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter

Have tried numerous suggestions and none seem to work. Unable to roll back the driver updates as Windows won't let me. Now stuck with a laptop and no connection.

Windows website says device is compatible

    Can anyone suggest any solution?
