    Designer mouse connection


    Hello everyone. I have a designer mouse and when I try to connect it with my laptop it will not connect, the states will be paired but I couldn't use it, it was working with the same device, but I tried to connect it to another on and failed my original. when I paired again it would show a white light on the top for around 10S and despaired. can anyone help with this issue?

    Bluetooth Designer Mouse Troubleshooting

    I'm running WIndows 10 on a Lenovo E560 and my Microsoft Bluetooth Designer Mouse has stopped working. Some weird symptoms:

    • In pairing mode, the device will appear in the Bluetooth Connection Manager, pair and connect. The mouse correctly finishes pairing mode when paired.
    • However, although it appears as connected, it doesn't work.
    • If the mouse is turned off, it still shows as connected in the Bluetooth Connection Manager.
    • If the bluetooth in the PC is turned off, then on again, it appears as "Paired".
    • If the mouse is then turned back on, it doesn't connect again.
    • Other Bluetooth devices pair and connect correctly.
    Any suggestions? Or is the mouse knackered?

    Hi Henry,

    We understand that your Microsoft designer mouse is working on other devices but not on your Windows 10 PC. This can be an issue with an outdated mouse driver. As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you update the device driver. Here's how:

    • Click the Start button, type "device manager" in the search box, and then select Device Manager.
    • In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
    • Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions.

    Designer mouse connection

    MSFT Bluetooth Designer Mouse keeps dropping connection

    I just bought a Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Mouse and connected it to a Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series running Windows 10.

    The mouse connected fine but then drops the connection randomly and I must reboot to reconnect.

    Any suggestions?
