    Dell Laptop Webcam Not Working


    Hello. My Dell laptop webcam have not been working for months on the windows camera app, and social media apps such as Whatsapp and Telegram. But it does work on Google Chrome tried it on Google Meet, and works on Zoom as well.I have checked the permissions to allow camera, and its enabled on all of them. But the camera just does not load. I have also tried checking the drivers for updates, deleting camera in device manager and reinstalling it, none of them worked.I need to know if anyone else struggles with this and if there is a solution.And if necessary here is my error code for the camer

    missing webcam drivers dell laptop

    I do not have any webcam drivers listed for my laptop, Dell Support does not have any listed on their support page to download. Dell says

    Windows 10 will download them on it's own. Please help me do this, every help page on Microsoft says to go to the manufacturers webpage to download the specific driver... please see below text from dell's website.


    • "Drivers for Integrated Webcams are pre-installed with Microsoft Windows and require no specific driver to be installed."

    Dell Laptop Webcam Not Working

    Webcam not working on Dell laptop

    I recently bought a Dell laptop with Windows 10.

    Windows Hello doesn't always work as it says unable to connect to webcam.

    After advice on here, I uninstalled one of the links from Device Manager (there were 3 , now 2 are left)

    I restarted laptop but no webcam still working.

    Can anyone help as I'm panicking now because I deleted one of the software attached to the webcam device.
