    DCOM/BITS related BSoD?

So I woke up this morning, noticed my PC had restarted itself, checked event viewer andThere is NOTHING before 6am, and that last one says Which from a Google search is related to the Windows App Store? So I ran the App Store troubleshooter, which told me there's a problem with BITS... so I run the BITS troubleshooter and I don't even remotely understand what's happened, or what's gone wrong and following the breadcrumb trail has led me nowhere, someone please help

    :)

    BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:
    • Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
    • Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
    • After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.

I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

    Best of luck! *Toast :toast:

The server {0002DF02-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Thanks for your help and pointers; here again, I proceeded with all steps but there are still 4 DCOM servers timing out at boot time

    • The server {21F282D1-A881-49E1-9A3A-26E44E39B86C} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
    • The server {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
