Why do I have over 6000 CryptnetUrlCache folders on my computer. I try to delete and/or sherd them but they keep coming back. They use a lot of space.

I have widows 10 on a HP computer.

    Thanks

  2. Store crash

    Hi People!

Today when I was trying to fix store crash by cleaning it's cache, I saw file that have 0 bytes size, I immediately searched it in web and got that damage to this file can stop some application in windows.

    http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/e...ows/77ec63bda74bd0d0e0426dc8f8008506-windows/

I think may be problem here they are located somewhere here:

    C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\Content

Check yours, mine two files 77EC63BDA74BD0D0E0426DC8F8008506 and FB0D848F74F70BB2EAA93746D24D9749 are zero bytes, maybe some of us interrupted Store when it was in state of self-updating!

Or if there is any suggestions and solutions, I'll be glad!

    Thanks!!!

  3. Untrusted Micosoft file

My Norton Anti-virus says this file on my c: drive under C:\Users\****\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache\MetaData
is suspicious and it's asking me what i want to do with it. File name: A053CFB63FC8E6507871752236B5CCD5_FE1FF07D298EFD13B43EC5E9AE329710

It says it's a system file created 2/9/2018 so probably came with some update or something? Can I delete it or mark it as "trusted" on my anti-virus or what should I do so it stops popping up? Is this dangerous? I am on Windows 10 Creator on a Dell Inspiron
All in One computer. Thanks for any info.

    CryptnetUrlCache

Cannot access Google with Microsoft Edge

There should be a confirmation that says something like "Operation completed for..." but if Edge is working afterwards it sounds like it is running properly. Just to be thorough, delete the folder, reboot, run the command, then reboot again.

Additionally we can also try a reset of the Internet Options settings. Do this just before to deleting the Edge folder, so before the first reboot.

    In Internet Options:

    1. On the General tab, click Delete, check the top three boxes, then delete again.

    2. Go to the Content tab, click Clear SSL State.

    3. Go to the Advanced tab, click Reset then Reset again.

    4. Navigate to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Microsoft\CryptnetUrlCache
and delete the contents of both the Content and MetaData folders. (Delete what is in the folders, not the folders themselves)
