Sudden spike in temperature

A sudden spike in temperature from 30°C to 38°C on your IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop after installing a new graphics driver and without any extra processing load might not be a cause for concern. In fact, these temperatures are relatively low and well within the safe operating range for most computer components.

Several factors can cause slight fluctuations in temperature:

1. Driver Installation: When you install new drivers, some background processes or optimizations may take place, which can temporarily increase CPU or GPU usage, leading to a slight increase in temperature.
   
2. System Updates: After driver installations or updates, your operating system might perform certain background tasks or indexing, causing temporary increases in CPU usage and consequently higher temperatures.
   
3. Background Applications: There might be other background applications running without your knowledge that can consume CPU or GPU resources and lead to higher temperatures. Make sure you check the Task Manager to see if any unexpected applications are running.
   
4. Ambient Temperature: Changes in the room's ambient temperature can influence the laptop's temperature. If the room is warmer than before, it can affect the laptop's cooling performance.

The temperatures you mentioned (30°C to 38°C) are still quite low, and the laptop's cooling system should be able to handle these levels easily. Laptops often experience temperature fluctuations based on various factors, and it's normal as long as they don't reach excessively high levels.

Sudden jump in RAM usage, CPU temperatures

I have performed a "clean boot" as instructed.

Afterwards the notebook ran noticeably better: fan low, RAM 21%, swap 20%, CPU usage nil, temperatures 53-54 degrees C.

CPU temperature issue in Windows 10 upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded the windows 7 to windows 10 its look good. But I noticed though, that system temperature is rising really quickly after system startup and CPU temp don't go below 50°C and fluctuating second by second and it goes
to 95°C as well.

• Only 10-15 minutes after startup CPU temperature hits 90°C when system is running totally idle
• If I start browsing the internet, temperature jumps to 95°C
• Task managers show system process between 18-20% of CPU; all other processes are between 0-1%
• All drivers are up to date

tell me how to solve this issue otherwise it will harm my computer.

Second thing pls tell me how to make windows 10 recovery disk so that in future I will kept for urgency.
