    Core Isolation turned


    Core Isolation in Windows Security has been turned off by Memory Integrity. The logic of Memory Integrity is to do its part in keeping our PC's security viable. MI turned C I off because" two drivers were not compatible with ????. I have spent hours on Intel the maker of the drivers trying to obtain some of their usual help. However, the names of the drivers were no help to Intel I went through the same process with Dell, the maker of my PC and I received the same sorrowful answer. I could use some help with this. Is my PC at risk because Core Isolation is off?

    On another note, someone, when asked for his help, told me to try "wannacry". I know nothing of how to use that if it is indeed of help. I am sure, with the greatest confidence, someone has the knowledge to help me and perhaps others. Ciao

    Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10  


    It looks like the .reg file in step 2 of Option Two in this tutorial worked to turn on Core isolation for you.

    Correct, you could use step 3 to turn it off.

    Core isolation not turning on

    I am running a AMD build with windows 10 and had my core isolation on prior. I downloaded an update on a driver for my Elgato game capture and now my Core isolation will not turn back on.

    Cannot Turn On Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Settings

    From Tutorial -> Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials

    Not able to perform steps in Option 1
    Under "Windows Defender Security Center", "Device Security" is not an option.
    Winver reports Version 1709 (OS build 16299 402)
    The processor is Intel I3
    Virtualization is enabled in system BIOS.


    Please advise.
