    Constant BSODs since installing KB5022834

I posted here a few days ago about constantly getting problems like Unexpected Store Exception, Kernel Data Inpage Error, and Memory Management after the February 16th, 2023 updates specifically KB5022834 were released. I've done many tests like sfc, DISM, chkdisk, Memory Diagnostics, and all of the tests in HP diagnostics, and all turned up clean. I've even tried reinstalling Windows, but that only worked for a few days before they came back. I've blocked KB5022834 from being downloaded, but that didn't seem to work. I'm guessing it's just the Febuary updates in general causing it. Each tim

  2. Windows 10 Update KB5022834 Causes BSOD Blue Screen

Thanks, I tried this, and it found the only update was KB5022834 and an optional preview update. KB5022834 installed and immediately started causing repeated BSOD. I rolled back the install of KB5022834, installed MalwareBytes, scanned, and found nothing.

Running dism.exe didn't seem to do anything, and sfc found nothing in the scan.

I'm now attempting to install the optional preview KB first and then see if KB5022834 will stop causing BSODs.

  3. KB5022834 - WINDOWS 10 UPDATE NOT INSTALLING - AMD64 vs X64 system

    Hi Todd,

The 1st set of CBS logs indicated that the update was successfully installed and a reboot was pending, but the version number didn't change (winver.exe should say 19042.2604 if the update has been applied. But it didn't.). I think it may have been installed partially.

    Pls try these steps now:

    Step 1:

    • Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop.
    • Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
    • Save any open documents and close all open windows.
    • On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
    • Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. [See illustration image]
    • SFCFix will now process the script.
    • Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.
    Step 2:

    • Download the updated fixlist.txt.
    • Place fixlist.txt in the same folder as FRST64.
    • Run FRST64 and click Fix.
    • Upload Fixlog.txt.
    Step 3:

Download the offline installer for 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022834) and install it.

Upload the fresh set of CBS logs if the update errors out. But I hope it goes through fine.

    Constant BSODs since installing KB5022834

KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.
