  1. Consistent Black/BSOD and App Crashes for diff reasons

I have been having consistent BSOD and Black screens since getting this pc around 10 days ago. I started on windows 11 and went to 10 after a BSOD loop, and it got better but after getting stuck in a BSOD loop with Driver Verifier and uninstalling and reinstalling apps, verifying files, downloading older and current visual drivers i'm not sure what to do. A couple of the most recent system crashes involved memory or ram so not sure if its a software or hardware issue now. please help im at the end of my knowledge with windbgdump files

    :)

  2. BSOD Unknown Reason

The dump file on the 18th was caused by Quick Heal again. The later ones appear to be due to bit flips. I would recommend enabling Driver Verifier on all third-party drivers using the following instructions: 1) Search for verifier using the Start Menu and select the verifier.exe, accept the UAC prompt and you should be presented with the following screen:

    2) Tick the following options as shown below

    3) Ensure that you select the option to enable you to select drivers yourself

    4) Select all drivers which are not Microsoft related and then click the Finish button. Afterwards, please reboot the computer and Driver Verifier will continue to run in the background. Please do not select the drivers which are prefixed with dump_

Frequent BSOD crashes that I can't seem to replicate consistently

    Minidump File

I first noticed the bluescreen crashes on 9/20/22. My laptop began frequently crashing that night at seemingly random times. Sometimes, it was a BSOD while using my laptop as normal. Other times, when restarting after the crash, another BSOD would occur on the Log In screen. Other times, when starting up, the screen would simply say "A bootable device has not been detected." in plain white text on a black screen. I was occasionally able to get Windows 10 to start up properly, but a BSOD would appear after anywhere between 5-30 minutes of using my laptop.

I seemingly fixed the problem by perform a System Restore to an earlier point. For about a week or so, my laptop was functioning as normal again. However, the issue came back recently, and performing another System Restore was not enough to fix it. I already ran the System File Checker and did a full scan with Windows Defender; no issues were found in either place.

I'm still able to start up Windows 10 occasionally, and sometimes it starts with no issue at all. I haven't been able to consistently replicate the crash, but I've tried a few things that seem to cause crashes with some consistency. When I plug or unplug a peripheral (so far I've tested USB, HDMI, and the laptop charger) a BSOD occasionally appears. However, other times I can do this without any crashes. Another relatively consistent BSOD occurs when putting the laptop to sleep. It either crashes when I put the laptop to sleep, or immediately after waking it up from sleep. Once again, this does not occur all the time, as I have been able to put the laptop to/wake it up from sleep without any issues other times. The most consistent method I've replicated the crash was when unplugging my laptop from HDMI and then putting it to sleep right after. Although I only did this twice, it crashed immediately both times.

No matter what I try, however, I'm at a loss for why the BSOD occurs. At the time I'm posting this question, I haven't had any BSOD's occur for the past 5 hours, even when I put the laptop to sleep and when plugging/unplugging USB devices. However, I'm not convinced that means the issue is gone, given how inconsistently it occurs.

    System Information:

    - OS: Windows 10

    - Manufacturer: Eluktronics

    - Model: MAG-15 2070

    - x64 based PC

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
