Windows 10: computer stops giving power to monitor and input deviced but the computer is still running.

So it recently started happening after i got my new gpu, rtx 3060. I have a amd cpu, ryzen 5 2600x and a psu of 750 w gold. I would load into a game and everything would be fine for a little then the problem would occur. The computer works or from what I can see but there is no signal to the monitor and inputs so I have to manually turn off the computer to restart it. This lead me to believe it was the temps because of my new gpu causing more heat as my cpu would be at 70 and sometimes even 80-85 while gaming. Then while playing i was also monitoring the temp on my cpu and it happened while it

Computer powers on, but monitors, keyboard and mouse don't work (windows 11)

Hi,

I recently purchased a windows 11 PC and it has been working fine for about a month. I went to turn it on this morning and there was no response from my monitor(s), keyboard or mouse. So far I have tried the following:

1. Restarting the computer
   
2. Unplugging all the equipment then plugging it back into the computer.
   
3. Reducing the monitor count from 2 to 1
   
4. Moving the HDMI cable from the video card input to the motherboard input
   
5. After shutting down the computer, unplugging it from the wall for 30 minutes to reset the power
   
6. Tried to turn on the computer in safemode using Microsoft's suggested method for black/blank screens at there website. Windows startup settings - Microsoft Support
   

So far still no response. Anything else I can try to get the computer functioning again?

 

Cannot connect my monitor

Describe the steps you are taking to add this monitor. It is supposed to be "plug and Play".

If you can, give us a screen capture of the message. Or the FULL and EXACT error message text.

• Try plugging the monitor to the computer with the power off on both the computer and the monitor.
  
• Power up the monitor.
  
• Power up the computer.

  Did you made any changes to the Computer prior to the issue?

As a first resolution, let us check for any pending updates for Windows 10 and install if any.
Please follow the below steps to update to latest build.

• 
  Press Windows key+ I to open the
  Settings.
  
• 
  Click on Update & security, then click on
  Windows Update.
  
• 
  Select Check for updates. If Windows Update says that your PC is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.
  
  If the issues till persist, please try the below methods;
  

Method 1:

• 
  Press Windows key+R
  to open the Run command, then type devmgmt.msc in the Run command.
  
• 
  Now, the device management tool will appear and, click on
  the network adapter and right click on the device.
  
• 
  Select properties and click on
  Power management tab.
  
• 
  Now check on Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
  

Method 2: Power troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to run the power troubleshooter and check if it works.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Press Windows + W keys on your keyboard to get the search option.
• Type Troubleshooting and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power troubleshooter in the
  search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.
