Windows 10: Computer starts typing with no keyboard input

Hi, my computer just randomly starts spamming a letter whenever and will not stop. I reboot and it will not stop. I remove the keyboard and it will not stop. I change the keyboard and it will not stop. The only thing that makes it stop is to shut off the computer for a few hours.I have called Microsoft a few times. I have no corrupted files and the last tech was baffled. We just did a reinstall of Windows 11 last week and it has happened again today.What is causing this? The computer is a year old.

Keyboard Input Lag During Computer Start


Has anyone had trouble with keyboard input lag when the computer starts? I've tried typing in Chrome and Sticky Notes right after the computer logs in and there is heavy lag between keystroke and the character being displayed. This problem only exists the first 10-20 seconds or so after login and also while i'm alt-tabbed out of GTA V. Afterwards, keyboard input behaves normally. On another computer (not with me at the moment) also running an SSD, I don't remember there being any keyboard input lag in Chrome right after the computer starts.

I've recently done a fresh install of Windows 10 but in my previous Win 8.1 setup, this issue was also present.

16gb Vengeance RAM @ 1600 mhz
GTX 780ti

 

Language keyboard input doesn't equal output

Language input may vary depending on the Input method set on your keyboard settings. To sort your concern, we suggest that you check if the desired input is set correctly by following these steps:

• Type in Language and keyboard options on the search box.
• Select the desired language that you're trying to set up.
• Once you've selected the language, select Options.
• Under Keyboards, select Microsoft IME and click
  Options.
• Scroll down and select Open advanced settings.
• A window will pop up. Under General tab, click the drop-down arrow for
  Input method and select the desired input.
• Click OK.

Malayalam Keyboard

Just to confirm, are you talking about a physical keyboard or a software? If your goal is to be able to use Malayalam as an input language, you can follow the steps in the article provided above. Once you set it as default and restart your computer, Malayalam
will be the input language, even if your keyboard is the normal QWERTY English keyboard. If you need the On-Screen Keyboard, follow these steps:

• Click Start.
• Go to Settings.
• Click Ease of Access.
• Choose Keyboard.
• Turn on the On-Screen Keyboard. As long as your input language is Malayalam, the On-Screen Keyboard will show the Malayalam alphabet instead of the English alphabet.
