Windows 10: Computer reboots 5-10 seconds after leaving sleep mode.

Newly built PC. First time using Windows 11. Upon starting the PC after finally building it. Had some issue where there was BSOD with "Driver Power State Failure" after booting for 1-3 minute. Re-installed Windows 11 3-4 times error fixed itself.Fast forward 2-3 days. I notice that if my computer goes into sleep mode and I come back to wake it up. The computer will basically restart itself after 5-10 seconds. No BSOD just suddenly screenshuts off and reboot itself. Power Light still never turned off.No BSOD so no Minidump folder. Pulled out the event viewer logs. Most recent reboot was around

Problems with sleep after upgrading to Windows 10

Thanks for responding, but unfortunately none of the steps helped. After trying each change, I sent the computer to sleep thru the Start menu and it worked (as usual). Then I logged into a second account (leaving the first user logged in). When I tried to
send the computer to sleep at that point, the screen went black, the fan sped up, and after 5 seconds or so the computer rebooted. This happened after all three troubleshooting steps.

Bottom line: whenever there is more than one user logged in, the computer reboots when sent to sleep.

There could be other settings on your computer that triggers your computer to go on sleep even though the sleep settings is set to never. To ensure that the sleep and display settings are properly set, I suggest that you look into the Advanced Power Settings.
Follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel and click Power Options.
• On your preferred plan, click Change plan settings.
• Click advanced power settings.
• Expand Sleep option, and make sure to set the following:

Sleep after : Never

Hibernate after : Never

5. Click Apply, then OK.

Please check also the screen saver option.

• Navigate to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen.
• Click Screen saver settings.
• Set your Screen saver to None.
• Click Apply, then OK.

Once done, please observe if your computer still goes to sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity.
