Windows 10: Computer freezes randomly, no sound, hard reset required.

I am having completely random freezes to my desktop. The screen will freeze in place, sound cuts from speakers, and it requires a hard restart in order to end it. Windows 10 freezes randomly

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Hi,

I'm currently using Windows 10 Home anniversary build with my Dell inspiron 7352 2-in-1 model (with solid sate drive and on-board Intel graphic card) and experiencing randomly freezes quite often. I have tried to update hardware drivers and bios but to no
avail. I have clean installed Windows 3-4 times but still have seen the same issue. The only thing I can do is to hard reset. The problem happens most of the time when I watch video on Youtube or other sites that require flash player. I normally use Chrome
and some suggested to turn off 'use hardware acceleration when available' but that didn't help in my case. In fact, the problem is also present when switching to other browser like Edge too. The video card driver has been updated and I also tried updating
flash player but the problem still persists. Even worse, the freezing also occurs sometimes when I leave my laptop overnight without putting it into sleep or hibernation. The freezing occurs randomly but usually within a week it comes to say hi to me. It might
be the next day after previous freezing. Sometimes after first hard reset it freezes all of the sudden and requires another reset. Because of this, it's really hard to tell whether the problem comes from hardware or software side. I have another laptop with
Win 10 Pro anniversary build also equipped with two hard drives (SSD and HDD) and dual graphic cards but this machine works like a charm without any problem.

I know this problem seems to be quite common to some Win 10 people but again it seems the cause of the problem varied among users. I would like see if anyone who has this issue experiences this similar behavior as my case. I would be appreciated if one could
point out any other approaches to track down or solve the problem.

Thank you for reply I got BSOD this morning when booting ant this is what your suggested program shows. All I found on google is that hal.dll is connected to windows xp or boot.ini so that makes no sense, I suppose this file is corrupted so should I change it manually by getting dll from internet or there is another way to fix it? also ntosknl.exe so it point to my RAM?
