Windows 10: computer freezes for 6 seconds every 6 seconds.

I hit on a facebook message and one of those blue screens popped up saying my computer had been infected and directed me to a somewhere else. I did not go. I had seen this before and restarting fixed it. In this case my computer is freezing every 6 seconds for 6 seconds. I restarted a few times, ran 4 different virus scans, did a chkdsk fix and attempted several restores. It will not do restores from any points I utilize. One line after a restore attempt said there was a problem with part of microsoft edge. x83\microsoft\edgecore\94.0.992 etcI have run out of ideas. Has anyone seem similar

Windows freezing for 3-6 second bursts on startup when opening applications and beeping.

I've been having a problem for the past 1 months with my 2 year old gaming pc where on startup, if I open an application windows will start to freeze in 2-4 second bursts. If I open the Movies and TV app and play a video file, my computer will start to freeze in 3-6 second bursts until the video file is closed. When I close the Video file, these short beeping noises are played which seems to correspond to how many times I click the close button. When I go to event viewer, I see about 5 event ID 10016 about the time that my computer was freezing. About 1 months ago when this all started happening my video files in the Movies and TV app were being played at about a constant 10 Frames per second. I have a 60hz TV with an HDMI cord plugged into my graphics card.

 

FAST boot time increased by 6 seconds

I'm not sure what did it exactly, but my FAST boot time went from 10 seconds to 16.

Might not seem like a big deal, but I love showing off the 10 to 11 second boot time i used to have.

I moved some of my media files to my mechanical drive (videos, music, documents) using the windows folder properties, but the problem didnt occur right after I did that. I dont really know for sure what the change was.

Not sure if that is the reason, but now I have to see the login/loading screen for 6 seconds on boot.

That increased my boot time to 16-17 seconds, where it used to be between 10-11.

Ok. I tried it. It made no difference.

I still saw the Windows loading screen with my profile picture for 6-7 seconds on startup.
