Windows 10: cmd.exe error 0xc0000142

Hello!I got an error 0xc0000142 when trying to open the Command Prompt. Other programs work well.My brother was using my laptop earlier and he told me that he enabled something "legacy mode requires relaunch". I don't know if thats it but after that Command Prompt start giving me errors and won't let me in.I tried to look up for solutions but got confused and gave up.I'll be very happy if someone helps me solve this problem. Was trying to download an app but I keep getting Error 0xc0000142, I tried almost all tutorials I can find from scanning cmd, editing registery, updating apps, disabling apps, etc. but I still end up with Error 0xc0000142, any help?

bcdedit.exe is a built-in Windows program. If it's not working, the exe could be corrupt. Run SFC then DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and tell us what happens with those item at an administrative command prompt or PowerShell session.

Very interesting. Also, might help to visit the Macrium Reflect forums and see if there's any discussion of this error. . . goes off to look . . . can't find anything useful. Might try running bcdedit by itself in PowerShell (or Command Prompt). If it's working, you should see something like this. If it blows up on its own that says for sure the problem is with the exe file.
