Windows 10: Closing the laptop lid, shut down the laptop

I have multiple devices while closing the lid of devices and open backs up restart the computer and when signing in I lost all my data that I am working on, lost all the tabs. I have all the devices HP EliteBook G11. Assuming this started to happen after the updates of this 2025-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5049624.Please if anyone is experience and have some fix around, please let me know.

Any suggestions why my windows 10 laptop shuts down when the lid is closed and also without use and the lid open it shuts down?

 

Laptop does not shutdown when i click shutdown and close the lid, it sleeps instead.

This scenario happens when your Power Options is misconfigured. For us to have this isolated, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on Start.
• Select Settings.
• Click on System.
• Select Power & sleep tab.
• On the right side, click on Additional power settings.
• On the left pane, select Choose what closing the lid does.
• Under Power button and lid settings, click the drop down next to
  When I close the lid.
• Select Shut down.
• Click on Save changes button.
• When you’re ready to make your PC shut down, close your laptop's lid.
  

Note: Every time that you will close the lid, your laptop will automatically shut down.

Laptop shuts down 2 minutes after lid is closed despite "lid closed action = do nothing"

ASUS Zephyrus G15 Laptop

I have an external monitor plugged into my laptop and I would like to use it with the lid closed. Despite having it set to do nothing when lid is closed, the laptop shuts down 2 minutes after the lid is closed.
