Windows 10: ChromeSetup.exe contained a virus and was deleted

Discus and support ChromeSetup.exe contained a virus and was deleted in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; So, I deleted Chrome because it was not working right and I went to download it again and it said, "chromesetup.exe contained a virus and was deleted"....     ChromeSetup.exe contained a virus and was deleted


    So, I deleted Chrome because it was not working right and I went to download it again and it said, "chromesetup.exe contained a virus and was deleted". I have no idea what to do, and I need it for school. Please help. I even checked all my files, looked at videos, I also checked my Recycle bin, and nothing was there. I really need it for school ASAP, please help.

    I can't download anything from internet keep getting messages, contained a virus and was deleted.

    Did you seek advice/assistance from your antivirus provider (Avast, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc)?

    Suggest you follow ALL of the steps (until the issue is resolved) in this free removal guide How To Remove SvcHost.exe Malware (Virus Removal Guide)

    Or follow the steps in Remove the Tprdpw32.exe and SmartService Rootkit

    If the issue remains try several of the scanners in

    List
    of Malware Removal Tools

    [program].exe contained a virus and as deleted

    Brand new computer, Windows 10.

    Only installations have been updates and Ubuntu from the software centre.

    ANYTHING downloaded as .exe registers as a virus.

    There are virii that cause this behaviour, but this is BRAND NEW laptop with only Windows 10 installed. If there is a virus on this computer, it's because Microsoft or Dell put it there. I have avoided M$ for years now as it's so badly built, but surely
    even Microsoft can't screw this up this badly?

    What can I do to fix this, or do I need to take this back to the shop and kick M$ for good?
