Child family account management taken over by a hacker family account.

Our Daughter's Family account has been removed from our Family account without our consent, and added to another Family account that is clearly a malicious account. It's even named "waetrytuhjk" Why try to hijackWe have tried numerous calls and emails to Microsoft support, and we have been bounced around trying to get a resolution. With zero luck.Microsoft support has confirmed that our accounts have not been compromised, and neither has our daughters. We did not consent to our daughter leaving our family group, and can't remove her from the hacker family group. There are all kinds of privacy

  2. Child account in family safety is no visible

    Helloo

Im Juliet and Im happy to help you Child family account management taken over by a hacker family account. :)

I would suggest you try to Verify the child account's status.

Double-check if the child account is still active and has not been removed or deleted. If the child account has been deleted or disabled, it will not appear in the parent account's settings.

To verify the status of a child account and ensure it is still active, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to the parent account: Use the credentials of the parent account associated with the child account and log in to the platform or service.

    2. Navigate to the account settings: Once logged in, locate the account settings or profile page within the platform or service. This is usually accessible through a dropdown menu or a dedicated settings icon.

    3. Look for family or child account management: In the account settings, search for options related to family or child account management. This could be labeled as "Family Safety," "Parental Controls," "Family Settings," or something similar, depending on the platform.

    4. Access child account settings: Within the family or child account management section, you should see a list of linked child accounts associated with the parent account. If the child account is visible, it indicates that it is active.

    5. Check for account deletion or disabling: If you do not see the child account listed, it might have been deleted or disabled. Look for any information or notifications indicating that the child account has been removed or disabled.

    6. Verify with platform support: If you are uncertain about the status of the child account, or if you cannot find any information regarding its deletion or disabling, contact the platform's customer support. They will be able to assist you in confirming the status of the child account and provide further guidance.

I hope this helps Child family account management taken over by a hacker family account. :) Let me know what happens Child family account management taken over by a hacker family account. :)

Bypass Family Settings by conversion to Local Account

I assumed that you had created a child (family) account, not creating a local normal account then converting it.

In your case I would simply copy his personal stuff to an external backup drive, remove his account and start from scratch. Takes a few minutes but in doing so you get better control.

When you have removed his account, this is Phase 1 in recreating a controlled child account to him: Child Account - Add or Remove from Your Family in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums. When done, restore his personal content to respective folders under his user profile folder.

Doing this he has no way to switch to a local account.

Then, the more you have patience to read, the more practical tips you will get:

Child account missing from family safety account

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I know the inconvenience you're experiencing with your child's account in your Microsoft Family Safety account. If your child's account has been accidentally removed from your account and you're encountering the error message stating that the account is already part of another family, here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Verify account status: Double-check whether your child's account is still active and accessible. Make sure it is not associated with any other Family Safety account.
    2. Contact Microsoft support: Reach out to Microsoft customer support for assistance. Explain the situation and provide them with the necessary details, such as your account information and the account details of your child. They should be able to help you further and guide you on how to resolve the issue.
    3. Remove account from the other family: If the error message suggests that the account is part of another family, try contacting the organizer or administrator of that family and request that they remove your child's account from their family. This will allow you to re-add the account to your own Family Safety account.
    4. Create a new child account: If all else fails, you may need to create a new child account for your Family Safety account. Follow the instructions provided by Microsoft to create a new child account and set up the necessary parental controls and safety settings.
Remember to keep track of any account-related information, such as usernames, passwords, and email addresses, to ensure smoother account management in the future.
