Windows 10: Change system password - my security questions don't work but I logged in using fingerprint

Hi,I haven't used my laptop in a long time so I've forgotten my password. I tried resetting it but my answers to the security questions is incorrect. I managed to login via fingerprint and I have my MS acc setup but unable to reset my password.Is there anything I can do? Or do I have to do a factory reset?

Can´t change / delete security question

Hi I´m trying to change my password but when i want to change it , it says my security questions answer is in my new password.
I know that microsoft don´t use security question no more but I set it like 7 years ago. So if someone has a answer to my question ( How to delete security question method ) please help. Thank you

change your password via https://account.microsoft.com/. Here's how:

• Log in your account via
  https://account.microsoft.com/.
• Go to the Security tab.
• Click on CHANGE PASSWORD.
• Change your password.
• Select Save.

Once done, log in your account to your device using the new password. Please post back with the result for further assistance.

To open System Properties and check the version of Windows, follow the steps below:

2. In the dialog box type control system and hit enter.

If you are using a Microsoft Account to log into your system and you are unable to change the password, then I would suggest that you sign in online and change your password. Follow the steps below to do so.

• 1. Click on the link below to open the Microsoft site, and then select
  Security & privacy.
