Windows 10: cellular network adapter dose not enable after windows update in Galaxy book3 Pro 360 5G

Hello, I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 5G and initially set it up without any issues, utilizing a SIM card for internet connectivity and its work perfectly. Unfortunately, after updating Windows and the drivers to latest versions, the Cellular connection option has become disabled and is now grayed out in the Network Connection setting. Additionally, as you can see the picture in attached within the Network Adapters section, the Cellular Adapter is shown as disabled. Attempts to enable it have been unsuccessful, as it remains disabled regardless of my efforts to activate

No 5g on galaxy book pro 360

I've recently purchased a galaxy book 360 Pro with 5g.

The 5g use to work but now it doesn't.

I've tried the sim card in another device and it's fine.

I've tried to enable the 5g network adaptor but it keeps saying disabled.

Is this a known issue that's going to be fixed within windows update or likely to be a device issue?

 

Unable to enable cellular network adapter in Win11

I have a Samsung Galaxy book Pro 360 5G laptop. I only used it for about a week and suddenly I noticed the cellular network is gone from the setting. However, I was still able to see it in the settings and adapters, please see below screenshot.

In the adapter list, it shows disabled, I tried to enable it, the pop up window says "enabled", however, the adapter was still gray and shows "disabled".

I have also tried to do a reset as well as factory recovery. All won't solve the problem. I also tried windows diagnostic tool, it says there's problem with the driver but won't be able to fix it.

Is there a way to pinpoint the problem as a hardware issue or software issue?

The adapter is Intel 5G solution 5000. I believe is the mediatek M80 model.

As per your description, your 5g adapter keeps saying its disabled. This could be a hardware related issue. Let me help you on this.

Here are some steps we can perform that can possibly fix the issue.

Update the device driver

1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
   
2. Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you’d like to update.
   
3. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
   
4. Select Update Driver.
   
5. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.
   

Reinstall the device driver

1. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
   
2. Right-click (or press and hold) the name of the device, and select Uninstall.
   
3. Restart your PC.
   
4. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
