Ask great questions:Be descriptive. The other Cascading menus -- in Windows 10, there is a way attach a tool bar to the task bar see image. Additionally this permitted a cascading menus affect. Is there a work around? / substitute replacement in win11?Summarize the problem. Having the Cascading menus functionality for frequently used folders & files is a huge navigation advantage. YOU wouldn't think of taking that away from the Edge browser right? Why did you take it away from the windows OS? 1 click instead of 9. Is that not enough of an efficiency gain?Paste the error message.

  3. lost task bar/tool bar

Toolbar is generally at the top which can contain your side arrows / refresh / home buttons / icons / bookmark and so forth.

Taskbar is generally on the bottom which includes your Start and start menu / time and date.

You sure that its not just your Bookmarks Bar that is missing ???

If you are using Google Chrome.

    1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
    2. Look for the Menu icon (3 vertical dots) on the right of your address bar.
    3. Select Bookmarks.
    4. Tick Show Bookmarks Bar.

Moving items from the tool bar to the home screen, and the home screen to the tool bar

You say "tool bar." Do you mean the *Task* bar?

To move a shortcut from the desktop to the task bar, just drag it there.

To move a shortcut from the task bar to the desktop requires two steps:

    1. Right-click it and choose Unpin from task bar.

    2. Create a desktop shortcut for it. Find it in the start menu and drag it to the desktop.
