Windows 10: Can't update windows 11/ cant update system reserved partition.

I had followed steps to increase my reserved partition, lost the winre.wim image so i was unable to continue cmd prompts. I downloaded windows 11 on an usb and was able to copy the winre.wim image and place it in the recovery folder. I can run reagentc /enable successfully but still windows will not update with the same error. the recovery partition has 1.21gb where before it only had 900mb. I am unsure where i went wrong and not sure what else to do. I have windows 11 pro version 23h2 trying to update to 24h2.

I am unable to install the Windows 11 Version 22H2 update and receive the message. "We couldn't update the system reserved partition"

Are you implying DISM is showing a message about bootmgr? What is the message exactly? You may need to use a different DISM syntax and point to a /source:
