Windows 10: Can't update to Windows 10 22H2 - This PC can't run Windows 10

Hello,I've been getting a message in Windows Update that I'm missing important updates, but when I check for update, no major update is installed.In this thread I learned you can force Windows to update by downloading a installer from Microsoft website. Seeing that I'm indeed on older Windows version 21H1, I tried to update manually. Unfortunately, after running through the whole installer I got a message that this PC can't run Windows although the installer said otherwise in step 1. The message also contained something about isntallign on a USB drive which I wasn't even doing. Here is a s

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.
