Windows 10: Can't uninstall NEAT drivers!

I have an old, now unsupported, version of NEAT scanner which I've still been using on my old Windows 7 laptop. Since it's a pain switching back and forth between old and new laptops, and having files in different locations, I figured I'd try to install the NEAT software on the new Windows 10 laptop. Once installed I couldn't use it, since the page it needs to connect to to activate no longer exists, so I uninstalled with the Uninstall Wizard. After restarting, I opened the list of Programs and Features, just to double check, and saw that there were still several NEAT drivers listed. Some I uninstalled manually, but there are4 ! that I can't uninstall. I get a message that the app is blocked by "an Administrator" for my protection. Each driver has a different number in the C:\WINDOWS\Installer\******.msi line. How can I get rid of these drivers??!? Please help!

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Neat adf driver is not working on Windows 10.

You may be facing the above issue due to incompatibility of the driver with Windows 10 operating system.



I suggest you to install the Neat adf driver in
Compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



Step 1: Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.

• Download the latest driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website or locate the driver setup file of the previous operating system in your PC.
• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on properties.
• Click on the compatibility tab, check the box
  Run this program in compatibility mode for, select Windows 10 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.
• Once the driver is installed in compatibility mode,
  restart the PC for the effective changes to take place.

Step 2: You can also follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and type
  Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
• Select the top most search result and follow from step 2 from Make older programs compatible with
  this version of Windows (Also applies to Windows 10).

Neat 5.7 stops working in Windows 10

I understand that the Neat software is not working in Windows 10. We will help you.

• Are you facing this issue after any recent update?
• Did you check if any update is available for the application in their website?

I suggest you to uninstall the application, restart the machine and reinstall the application and check
if it helps.
