Windows 10: Can't turn on Handsfree-telephony

I try to turn on handsfree-telephony at controlpanel>devices and printers but it doesn't work. It says: The parameter is wrong. Can anyone help me out?

Issues with "Handsfree Telephony"

So I have a pair of Sony WH-900N Bluetooth headphones that work GREAT except for when I try to use them on my desktop. The audio and mic will typically be fine until I launch a game - after this I can't hear anything until I quit the application.
After doing this, I can hear again, but the overall quality is worse.

I was able to fix this issue by disabling "Handsfree Telephony" in the services menu for the headset, but now I can't use the mic. I realize that Windows and headphones don't always get along, but has anyone managed get headphones like these working for
gaming? It'd be pretty sweet to use these instead of my original wired headset. Thanks in advance!

 

bluetooth headphones - the uncheck the Handsfree Telephony solution didn't work

I just bought the sony mdr-xb950bt and it works amazingly with my iPhone, but when I connect it to my laptop the sound is like an old radio! I searched for solutions but nothing fixed it!

The headphone appears in the playback devices as headset and a stereo headphone, and the headset is only one that have the sound when it is default. the other one is showing there is sound but actually there is nothing.

I checked the services and it is working
I also found the uncheck the Handsfree Telephony solution but when apply the change the headset disappears and the Stereo headphone doesn't and stay the same with no sound.

please help.

 

Bluetooth handsfree?

on the ATT Blackjack, when placing a handsfree call from the contacts list, using Acura TL handsfree link, when the call is connected, handsfree switches off uncommanded and requires the user to select 'handsfree on' even though there is a headset (the
car handsfree) registered / connected the whole time... is there someway to fix that?
