Windows 10: Cant right click on any app on desktop main window

The title says it all . I cant right click some of the shortcuts i have on the main desktop window . For example , if it is an app like Discord , BattleNet ,Riot Launcher , any app i cant right click without showing me the blue circle the entire time , it doesnt even takes too long to appear the context menu , cause it doesnt show , ever . If it is for example a text file , a PDF , a zip file , i can right click without a problem and the context menu shows right after i click it . What have i already tried to do : - sfc /scannow > windows found corrupted files and repaired > re

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

• Does this happen when you try dragging all apps to the desktop, or just a specific app?

As an initial recommendation, we suggest following these steps as a workaround:

• Right-click on any empty part of the desktop.

If you want to pin apps from your desktop to your Windows Start menu, you can follow the simple steps below:

• Select all the apps.
• Right-click and look for Pin to Start.

However, after pinning all the apps on your Start menu and you want to remove it on your desktop, just select all the apps, right-click and select
Delete.
