Windows 10: Can't Install the Snipping Tool from the Microsoft Store

Hello, I can't install the Snipping Tool app from the Microsoft Store. I tried to repair and reset the store from the settings and it just wouldn't work. I get this result 0x80080005. This code also appears in the Windows Update section in the settings. Please help. Thank you.

Snippet Tool will snip but snip doesn't show up in a test email

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.



I would like to inform you that Snipping tool is a desktop app and not a Windows Store app.

All the Windows Store apps will be listed in All apps list and not desktop app.

Regarding the sending attachment emails of snipped imaged, follow the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Open Snipping tool.

2. Then click on New button and then imaged will be shown in the snipping tool.

3. After that click on File button on the top left side of the app and click on
Send to.

4. Click on Email Recipient.

Click your Start Button, then just type snip

If the Snipping tool is installed on your PC, you will find it on the resulting list.

If that app does not appear on the resulting list, you can install it from the Microsoft Store:
