Windows 10: Can't install java in my computer

so i want install jdk-18.0.2.1_windows-x64_bin.exe on my computer, when i try to double click the exe it ask me for a administration permision, i click yes but after i click yes or give permission, it didnt even show an error code, its just disappear no matter how much i try to install the javai have bad english if you doesn't understand i can give you a video

I understand that you are unable to install Java on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



As you have mentioned that nothing happens after running the program, I would suggest you to make sure that Windows Installer service is running and set to Automatic. To check this, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows logo key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type services.msc and click on
   OK.
   
3. Look for Windows Installer in the list, and double click on it.
   
4. Select Automatic from the drop down for
   Startup Type.
   
5. Click on Start and OK.
   

If the persists, I would suggest you to perform a clean boot on the computer and then try installing Java.



Performing a clean boot will start the computer with minimal set of drivers and programs, to determine whether a background program is causing the issue. Some of the Startup programs will not load after performing a clean boot on the computer.
However, that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after finishing the troubleshooting.
